I think the management should be liable. I think that is the real solution. I’ve thought about this often but suing one cop doesn’t really change the system.
Well, the problem with that is that nobody who works for a living, not even a cop, has the money someone beaten or killed by cops deserves. The city/county/state should pay, I 'd say, but what's missing is — fire, prosecute, and imprison the bad cops.
