We've really come to the "You'll slave away and not be able to afford anything" stage. It's kind of exciting. I hate it, but I also want him to go faster. Crash and burn faster. Maybe regulations will come in after he's removed, and we can possibly see some improvements in our lifetime.

Serious now, I wouldn't be surprised if USA's video game industry was suddenly gone - because for countries not directly caught in the tariffs war, businesses outside USA (like Sony and Nintendo) will get another competitive advantage.

i think the article specifies that this is a new forecast based upon the Trump admin solidifying the final shape of the tariffs. So it seems unlikely at this phase that they will fold the current numbers, but we all know how smooth and predictable the Trump admin is.
There's no "solidifying" anything with this guy. His reign is based on his whims and emotions.
