- given the fact that I could totally fight 20 of you bozos simultaneously, it's definitely taking 100 dudes to subdue a gorilla.
  hell, the first 50 guys would be unconscious after the gorilla clonked their heads together, 2 at a time, making the characteristic hollow "clonk" noise from the looney toons documentaries.
  after 25 of those, the humans would wise up and start trying to do judo kicks. which also wouldn't work, but the gorilla would get tired and go lay down and the humans would claim victory.

  2 athletic, muscular men maybe could do it if coordinated. 3 certainly. I'm guessing like 5 or 6 randos off the street if vaguely physically able could win as well
  a lone wild animal can only do so much even with a very large amount of muscle
  
  A gorilla is very big and very very strong. As an adult man you can defeat a lot of children and here the difference in strength is much bigger

  Honestly this is my view on this as well. This fight only becomes an issue if the humans mindlessly charge at the gorilla 1 at a time. With communication and a strategy of wearing the gorilla's energy down over time, it would be no contest. Persistence hunting is something humans can do given our mobility and endurance, we could do the same to a significantly less mobile creature. Once the gorilla is exhausted enough, it's raw strength doesn't really matter

- Will need to be world strongest man or pro fighters even then idk. Francis Ngannou would probably fuck up 10 average people. I've seen a vid where 15 or 20 high schoolers took on a large man. Large man took out several. The rest were shook. Average person has horrible fight strategy in groups and even worse combat skills in general. Gorilla bloodlusted would destroy 10 people. Its got a stronger bite force than a lion. Only way is if its not in the mood and scared away but fighting for its life
