Like most Americans in year 2025, you probably lack "media ecology" literacy, cults of media formats and media venues. Teachers like Marshall McLuhan from University of Toronto and Neil Postman from New York University in Manhattan are core teachers on the subject, but most Reddit users seem to have never studied the electric media influence upon populations / group thinking cults.
