afaik, they don't even try to see if anyone's home anymore--unless they have to.
They don't even ring the bell and every time I have made or seen someone else make this argument, you get a bunch of UPS/FedEx workers in the thread trying to excuse this by saying they don't have enough time to push a fucking button. 😬
Not a ups/FedEx worker, but I guess it's not about pushing the button but the potential social interaction that might occur which then takes too much time. But I'm just guessing.
