Samsung says its ‘Screens Everywhere’ approach won’t mean ads everywhere, for now

Good thing I have no plans to buy samsung ever.

Says the company that puts ads on people's TVs. The TVs they paid full price for and supposedly fully own.

Yeah, no. You're a crazy son of a bitch if you think I'm going to put touchscreens on my oven, washing machine, microwave etc. I learned my lesson from cars taking away all physical buttons, which fucking sucks.

My hands are usually wet and covered in soap or grease in various environments. I'm not going to constantly be cleaning touchscreens with gentle cleansers, troubleshooting whatever "error 503" is on my washer, or compromising my home network with security intrusions beyond what is already necessary.

Also, fuck Samsung appliances.
