Got a tattoo today, 5.5 hour sitting. Got very spicy and felt nauseous several times. I heroically got through it but decided to absolutely never get my ribs done because that's 1000 times worse
Five and a half hours, that's dedication! (and pain) You'll have to post a photo when it's healed up
I'd love to get one myself, but I can be very changeable when it comes to what I'm in to, and wouldn't want something so permanent, piercings can be taken out, hair grows back
Having said that, there are some astonishingly beautiful tattoos out there, and there's part of me that still wants to freak my mother out!
I think I've finally worked out how to apply sunscreen so it doesn't become a greasy slick on my face that inevitably finds it's way into my eyes
I read on labmuffin about using a cushion puff and it works, that plus a light dusting of corn flour on top and I no longer look like I'm coated in lard....Big whoop! Just in time for summer too š
Also what's everyone watching on TV?
I've just finished Apple, Cider, Vinegar on Netflix about cancer faker and scammer Belle Gibson, which was really good, and now I've started on The Last of Us season 2. I really love Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in this...... mmmm Pedro Pascal š
At the risk of spoilers, I gave up on TLoU this episode. Padro Pascal is prolific enough, I can enjoy him in other things.
Been watching The Pitt, which is amazing. I'm going to rewatch now the first season is complete.
Yes, I knew it was on the cards, but didn't expect it so early, thought it might be a tease, alas no....
I've not heard of The Pitt, I've been watching Severance and the White Lotus, but now they've finished I'll be looking for new TV to binge watch
Iāve had the same problem with sunscreens until I switched to mineral ones, but not all of them are made equal of course. Most are thick pastes that donāt blend well and leave a white cast look. Then I found out about Asian gel sunscreens on a recent trip and itās been a game changer! They blend instantly and are sooo much better than anything you can buy in the west. Iām currently using āSkin Aqua Super Moisture barrier UV Gelā which is the best spf 50+ Iāve ever tried. Itās also in a cute little bottle that I can keep in my backpack all day.
I've only tried one mineral sunscreen and that was full on Coco The Clown 𤔠so I'm very wary of them!
My regular ones have been La Roche Posay, which have really high PA ratings, but are a tad lardy. The Asian ones though are amazing, I've a couple of Skin Aqua ones, my fave (so far) being UV Super moisture Essence
I think that if I'm going to be out and about for long periods the LRP are the ones to use (they feel a bit more 'heavy duty' but that could just be the lard effect). If I'm just nipping out the Asian ones will do the job
Have you had prolonged sun exposure whilst wearing the Skin Aqua and not burned or tanned? I'm still wary of trusting them completely (I've had some horrible sun burns in the past and am really paranoid of the sun)
I absolutely LOVED the first season of TLOU with Daddy Pascal but I know the plot to the 2nd game so I'm not watching s2. It's just not for me. I'm now watching s2 of Daryl Dixon which isn't grabbing me so I think I might ditch it.
