Cf. the sitcom Ghosts in which every ghost is eternally wearing and carrying the same things they had at the instant of death.
Running jokes (in both the original UK series and US reboot) include the guy who died while wearing his suit without the trousers, forcing him to forever walk around bare-legged, and the scout leader who eternally sports the arrow through his neck which killed him.
Love both UK and US versions. Was reading that they’re expanding to lots of other countries as well.
