But I do know that Steve Bannon-- and I probably don't need to explain who he is to Trump-- wants "economic nationalism" for everyone, which is basically autarky and isolationism. Bannon did go on Europe to promote the far-right groups and his ideas almost ten years back. In any case, it is though autarky and isolationism had worked well before....
