The problem is that this happens within normal spec. He explains it in the video.
So you're probably fine towing at the rated limit... as long as you stay on flat ground. As soon as you crest a hill, all that weight becomes vertical for a few seconds.
Additionally, aluminum stresses over time, like bending a piece of plastic. The first time you do it, it might be fine. The tenth time it might not.
The Cybertruck is not for serious towing.

This really isn't a dunk on cyber trucks based on the comment (no actual numbers). Things tend to get damaged when you overload them in a way they aren't designed to handle.

In the video, they did the same to a 2004 Dodge Ram and it would not break at all.
The cybertruck is just built cheaply, it would be fine if it wasn't advertised like it's comparable to an actual vehicle made for towing.
