Anon gets down with the sickness

I get stoned as fuck and still am able to remember shit I did while stoned as fuck. I am more likely to lose my memory walking through a doorway ("why did I come in here again?") than I am getting high as balls. lol
- As someone who has done both (occasionally at the same time even), there is a HUGE difference between getting too high and getting too drunk. Getting too high is way safer lol much less likely to get into any real trouble and you'll for sure remember everything that happened

I wonder if it still works as a stress reliever? Biochemically speaking. It should, right? You get the happy chemicals and they... Do something with the sad chemicals (I am not a biochemist)
- Your mind still has those experiences. He'll still look back at this fondly, even if drunk. At the least, it'll add to his life experiences so he knows how to control his drinking better in the future if he wants to remember the experience.

- When I still drank I made a rule for myself that I could only have one beer between bands and then could drink as much as I wanted after the show to avoid getting stupid drunk and having to leave before the band I actually came to see went on lol
  It generally worked unless all of the opening bands were just terrible
  Quitting drinking altogether ultimately became the best option for everyone involved in my particular case
