Minecraft Happy Ghast: everything you need to know about the newest passive mob

Not everything I want to know. For me, the missing information is the speed, and if you want it to move in one direction, will you need to constantly press or clock a button, or is it basically direction and speed and go without further work, I.e more like a minecart or a boat?
