John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness is an underseen and essential masterpiece

This film legit creeped me out the first time I saw it. I was house sitting so alone in a strange place watching it in the early hours of the morning. I didn't know what it was about so genuinely unaware that twists were coming. The reveal at the end freaked me out so much I don't think I slept that night.
