The problem is that your opponent will, and then they'll win. I fear we need major electoral reform before we can squash this problem.
She sounds great. I want more of this. Even if she got elected and did absolutely nothing of note, the fact that she's vocally against the status quo would be enough to earn my vote.
I don't want to discourage you, she seems like a worthy candidate. It's this "even if they did nothing" talk that grabs me. The average dem voter is so accustomed to weakness that we're starting to sound like a battered partner.
You're not wrong. The Democratic strategy for the past what? 35 years now has been to constantly engage in "hippie punching" to try to seem more reasonable to so-called "moderates" by criticizing the Far Left™. So in a sense one could say that the left has been stuck in an abusive relationship for a long time.
She did an appearance on Some More News and I really hope she wins. Wish I was half as good of a communicator as she is.
Oh no! If she WINS the OBVIOUS Solution for Democrats is to go even FURTHER RIGHT next Election to CAPTURE all those Republicans who Didn't Vote for Her!
You know what would work even better? Unseating Republicans so they don't have a bicameral majority.
Stop distracting from the issues. Both are important not just one. You can't have Republicans literally shaking the foundations of our fucking democracy and have old ass Democrats refuse to fight back and say only the Republicans are the problem.

I wholeheartedly agree with electing young people to drain the swamp that is the state of US politics.
After what happened to bernie and then now what is going on right now it should be clear that the house and senate are not doing their jobs. They should be the ones creating laws, not the executive branch.
You'll notice that I didn't call out a particular party. I think it should be a bipartisan effort. Maybe we'd finally get the younger generations to vote if they could relate to the people in office.
It's good that she's progressive, but her association with Tik Tok raises red flags.
