I really love how the citrus and leather play against each other in this.
Nice participation number again in yesterday's match-up:

Having Stirling, Noble Otter, DG, and BaM tied for last place tells me that the project of introducing chaos into March Madness totally worked. This is fascinating. Also, Bubbles tied for first with Talent makes me happy.
Wow, interesting results for sure.
I’m definitely surprised to see Stirling and BaM decided due to the tiebreaker yesterday. It seems the TSF focus has really peeled some folks off of some of the more well known brands.
Definitely more chaos!
Fascinating!
Quartidi 24 Ventôse an 233 de la Révolution, jour de Pâquerette
Continuing with the kill on Ishtar. Good shave, and for once, I made a picture of me shaving:
I don't remember which razor the second one was, but it sure was yummy.

MARCH MADNESS 2025 DAY 14
TGIF!! Happy Friday folks. Have a safe weekend.
Shitty picture taken in a big hurry today, but a good shave. Antiga Barberia de Bairro makes good cream and Cologne Russe is great

The Rambler has really grown on me the more I use it. Also the Sego base is such a pleasure to use.
Happy Friday!

The weather has been warming up a bit. Having a friend over later to grill dinner with the kids while our respective wives go to a ZZ Ward concert together.

This was the third attempt at an edge on this Geneva Cutlery razor. This was the first time that this razor has provided a great 2-pass shave; as it should with a fresh Jnat edge. My assumption is that the steel's temper was compromised at the edge and the repeated honing of the razor is removing poor steel and revealing good steel. Microscope analysis showed that edge wear was minimal which is exactly what I would expect for one shave. The previous two edges have shown too much wear for one, 2-pass shave.
