I fn hate Beeple with a passion. His work is so uninspired and "lol so random". I don't understand how he's so popular and successful. He has zero talent while there are so many amazing artists out there that get zero recognition. He's like if NFT bros merged into a single person.
I'm really not picky over overly critical, but for some reason Beeple triggers me.

I agree that it feels "cheap" and he's very overrated.
I knew his art before knowing he was famous. I like some of his artworks, partly because I percieve some self-consciousness in how empty of meaning they are. But I may be reading too much into it.

You're right they were nice, but sadly he's produced astronomically more garbage than those quality ones. I just can't respect halfassed sellouts.

i know exactly what you mean, but i feel he used to be really good - before he got into his "satire"/"commentary" era
i followed him on tumblr until a year or two ago, when i had enough of his "yet another 3d render of baby trump or musk's head"

Yeah that's exactly why. I didn't know he could actually also make nice art. But I guess it's his audience's fault for promoting all these dumb ""satire"" posts. It was novel for the first one or two, but he went all in once he smelled blood. Talk about zero integrity.
