President Trump is planning to invoke a wartime law known as the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 as soon as Friday to authorize the summary deportation of some migrants.

That's quite a stretch here. Wonder who could show standing to challenge it but I would think that would require some kind of military threat from these countries to be upheld.
Its invocation to target migrants from countries with which the U.S. is not actively at war is almost certain to face legal challenges.
Looks like it will be challenged in court.
Especially when a majority of the migrants have come legally on work Visas and such and then over stayed those Visas. Hard to call those people invading when they were here via legal processes.
One of my proudest Achievements in my first term was to create SPACE FORCE, the First new branch of the Armed Forces in over 70 years... Now that Space Force is up and running, I think it is time to use them against the ALIEN ENEMIES that have overrun the Country. As President, I will invoke the ALIEN ENEMIES ACT and use the SPACE FORCE to finally rid our ONCE GREAT COUNTRY of these - in many cases very bad and evil- ALIENS.

Shouldn't they drop that Agency before making cuts to NOAA?
But dropping Space Force doesn't make poor people's lives worse.
They mainly manage our satellites. Including communications, intelligence gathering, GPS, missile detection systems and monitor/protect them from attack/EM interference. That includes all of our civilian satellites.
They also make sure we (the whole planet) don't end up like the dinosaurs. Which is nice.
They've constructed very pretty offices on air force installations from what I've seen.
