    • Brush: Trotter Handcrafts Souls 26mm Manchurian T1 Badger Knot
    • Razor: EldrormR Industries MM24
    • Blade: Personna GEM PTFE [2]
    • Lather: Talent Soap Factory - Echo Beach - Soap (Vegan)
    • Post Shave: Barrister and Mann - Waves - Aftershave

This is the exact setup that I used a year ago today for March Madness 2024.

  • Sunday, March 09, 2025

    • Brush: Omega - 10048 boar
    • Razor: Gillette - Old Type
    • Blade: Personna - Lab Blue (3)
    • Lather: Stirling - Deep Blue Sea
    • Post Shave: Stirling - Deep Blue Sea Aftershave splash (+ menthol)
    • Fragrance: Chiseled Face - Summer Storm EdP

Another vote for Stirling. Deep Blue Sea is a great scent to start a sunny morning, and the Omega brush always whips up an excellent lather with this base.

    • Brush: Chisel and Hound – Flame On with v26 Fanchurian
    • Razor: C. V. Heljestrand MK NΒΊ 31 (square point, full hollow, 5/8", carbon steel)
    • Lather: Summer Break Soaps – Valedictorian
    • Post Shave: Macduffs Soap Company – Trail Tobacco
    • Fragrance: House of Mammoth – Shire 2

I'm throwing my support behind Summer Break Soaps today. Valedictorian and Teacher's Pet are among my favourite scents in wetshaving, the base is super easy to work with, and Rocket is an active member of this community.

Lovely shave with an outdoorsy tobacco theme. I smell ready for adventure.

Wish you all a great Sunday!

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

Wonderful Sunday shave this morning. 1889 has the perfect scent to usher in a great early spring day here in Maryland. The Escher edge on this razor continues to perform well, but it represents my first use of the stone. I'm sure that stone has more to give.
