When I'm in work mode, I can't eat
When I'm in work mode, I can't eat
When I'm in work mode, I can't eat
For whatever reason I am physically stronger and have more stamina before I eat. As soon as I have breakfastlunchdinner, I lose that.
Up to a certain point, of course. That point being “Oh I am shaking. I guess I forgot I need food for too long again”.
Isn't that just an after dinner dip? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postprandial_somnolence
Just in case you should have your blood sugar level checked, unless you really eat once per day
On days off I do tend to just forget to eat until late afternoon. Shaking only happens when I do that, and goes away after eating. So yes, by that point my sugar is probably terrible.
On days where I know I’ll be doing a lot of physical activity early, I do purposely not eat for that weird ‘haven’t eaten yet’ boost until early-mid afternoon when it wears off.
Ramadam month going relatable
This would be a nice problem to have for some of us.
Why? Its not a dieting aid. Fucks up your metabolism and the meal itself is rarely low carb or balanced.
Pubmed article that says I'm not full of shit.
Yes it is a dieting aid, the basic objective of losing weight is to control caloric intake. If you skip breakfast and can do so without significant hunger or energy issues it absolutely works as a method of controling intake. There is not a single diet on earth that will allow you to lose weight if you are putting in more calories than you burn.
There is literally no evidence that it slows down or messes with your metabolism. It IS however sub-optimal for anyone trying to gain muscle mass or anyone with a physically strenuous job.
How can a meal be low carb AND balanced? Low carb is a bunch of fad bullshit. Carbs arent a problem, easily accessible, highly processed, highly paletable, calorie dense carbs are a problem.
The last point is just straight up common sense. If you're gonna not eat all day and then fuck up 2 meatlovers pizzas the problem isnt that you're fasting.
