Ed Zitron called it last year. He said that one of the signs of the beginning of the AI implosion would be raising prices.
Any price increases by OpenAI or Anthropic: If they start needing to make more money, they could get desperate. This will be a sign their unit economics are no longer working out with their investors.

Is the hype already declining, when they are trying everything to monetize, no matter how ridiculous?
At least this will somewhat mitigate the unfettered access to this technology.
