You can build an AR-15 for under $500. Cheap 9mm pistols can be under $300.
Edit: A 22LR rifle can be gotten for $200. Might not have the stopping power, but it'll make someone's priorities change when they get plinked by it. Four round pump action 12GA shotgun can be had for ~$250.

Susan Collins will vote against her party as long as the Republicans have enough votes without her. She is trash and has no principles.
