Well yeah, labor costs more here. We have unions.
- Silly westerners not wanting to work 13 hour days
  Also doesn't hurt that semiconductors and chips are Taiwan's main ace in the hole and they have every reason to prevent their N American fabs from being as good.
- Which is a good thing.
