This is not about power. It’s about obscuring his actions by circumventing legislation, while attempting to keep Congress’s hands clean. It’s the same reason the ‘newly headless’ DOGE is the office taking action.
An executive order can be challenged by Congress or declared unconstitutional by the courts. Until then, our entire government is complicit is his actions.

A general strike or boycott would be a good beginning? It seems like it would be best to get organized using real identities somehow but they would just use that as a list. I am thinking to start we need to organize on a secure, encrypted platform. I am not well versed in that kind of stuff though.

No, we can't beat it. It is the end, for the next decade or three. We're watching history play out, from the wrong end, as has happened many, many times. You might as well march and protest against the river's flow.
Best you can do is hunker down, figure out the best play for you and your family. Get armed, learn and train, stockpile rice and corn and ammo, figure out what medicine(s) you need, learn to grow things, find a place to run to when it gets hot.
I can already hear the cries from those that didn't do fare well in history class: "deFeAtiSt!"
If one doesn't like my take, you are free to get on the trains. Used to say I'd fight for ya', not anymore, too close to home to do anything but protect my own.

So, if I'm reading this correctly:
By his own decree; The President has supreme power over every single government office, and has the power to unilaterally change/create/remove all of them at will with no oversite.
Any/all federal publications or regulatory actions must be approved by the:
Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) within the Executive Office of the President before publication in the Federal Register.
No oversite, no external regulatory bodies, no checks and balances; just what Trump says goes....

I don't know if you can read, but saying that all independent regulatory agencies, even those approved by congress, are now magically fully controlled by the president, without restriction, doesn't exactly uphold the constitution, nor does it uphold our existing laws regarding how these agencies are approved/confirmed, funded, and operated.

The Federal Election Commission was not under Presidential rule prior to their executive order. It would be ridiculous for an elected position to control the election commission for obvious reasons of election tampering potential.
This might seem to be a reaffirmation of the constitution at a passing glance, but most certainly is more sinister if you dig into the statues and governmental overseeing bodies being affected by this claim.
