Got the new volume for I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!, I'm around 40% and it is definitely the best in the series yet.
I am constantly laughing. Highly recommended.

The byline sounds funny "Reincarnated as a Yuri Ship-Sinker"
So I've read the sample chapter and that's a definitive "no" from me. Maybe this is a lost-in-translation case and it's better in Japanese but in English the MC is just terrible. I get it that they've aimed for "quirky" and "endearing" but it comes across as "obnoxious", "gross" and "off-putting". Here are some quotes from MC just from the prologue:
βThis is so easy. Itβs about as easy as day-old bathwater is on your skin.β
My dream is to become a houseplant in an apartment shared by a cute lesbian couple and have them water me and feed me romantic scenes every day.
βN-no, noβ¦ Iβd be putting my life in danger if I kept playing any longerβ¦ I need yuri to cleanse my mindβ¦or I wonβt be human anymoreβ¦β
My yuri sense began to tingle.
ββ¦Ah, I havenβt even been able to read this monthβs Princess Yuri yet.β
βSo the yuri pairing is safe, huh? Then I guess this is fineβ¦β

The order of priority went like this: yuri >>>>>me>>others.

There is a lot more of that. And that's only the prologue.
I have read halfway and it tingles my funny bone for sure. The thing that is most wrong with it for now is editorial stuff and half-assed translation. Some jokes I can somewhat guess what are indeded in japanese but land flat. Some that are situational land great. In editorial stuff for example, retrospection section isn't clearly marked. There are sentences that just hang there like some sort of broken print. (I hope that is just my high seas version and not the official one)
After a bit of thought, I wanted to compare Eminance in the Shadow with this but the MC is different. Hiiro is sincere in his unhigedness. He clearly wants to manipulate feelings for his enjoyement but at the same time he wants to be a good guy. Eminance thinks that the world is a stage for him to perform. Being unhinged dosen't matter as he lives in different world than everyone else. Hiiro on the other hand lives in reality but his fetish clashes with being virtous. The novel doesn't acknowladge this inner conflict and instead focuses on conflict between MC and The World.
The most comparable novelΒ I can think of is Mushoku tensei. Sone bad stuff, some good stuff. I will see if the plot/comedy in this is as good as mushoku.
