The bug stopped people from accessing content they had paid for.

The game was launched in 2019 so instead of fixing the bug they just pulled it from the store. Refunds only for who bought the DLC up to ~~3 weeks~~ 1 year ago. Sucks to be a paying user.

I'd be curious what the API change is that caused the bug. I think it's just as likely that this is yet another case of Apple pulling the rug out from under devs.
- I agree. If it's unfixable it has to be something out of their control. I mean nothing is unfixable but really the only explanation for a bug being too costly to fix is that something auxiliary changed which forces you to either go back to the drawing board or cut your losses.
