  • 135 chips (base level, no modifiers)

    • given your hand size you probably have a stuntman, made something negative, and took the hieroglyph (classic series of blunders) so that’d be 885 chips, should be enough to clear any blind in ante 1 (pre-purple) but I’d either drop that joker if it isn’t eternal (or this resulted from consecutive ectoplasms, even classic-er blunder, just hold R at that point if the engine isn’t set yet) or start pumping high card immediately

  • I've recently started playing balatro and I hate to admit it but I think I enjoy it more than actual poker

  • I don't know a single thing about cribbage

    • this is the highest scoring hand in the game. you're trying to add up combinations of cards to 15, with face cards all equal 10. each unique combination of cards that adds up to 15 is worth 2 points. you get to use the face up card on top of the deck, as well, so @mechwarrior2@hexbear.net has 16 points showing just from that. pairs are also worth 2 points each, so that's another 12 points, and having the jack of the same suit as the card on top of the deck is worth another point for no reason. 29 points in all, and the game is played until 121, so it's a large jump.
