This will certainly sway the election lmao
- The story published by the media does a lot of harm to the greens party. It doesn't even matter if the story is corrected later on. The harm is already done.
- It will sway the way people see Greens and their voters, so yeah, it will sway the election, even if just a bit. A lot of small shits like this can eventually sway elections.
  
  "Hey, these guys are engaging in direct action, effecting change even without power" is the message every single political party would love to send.
If Russia were half as powerful as articles like this always implicitly require them to be, we'd all be speaking Russian.
- I think it's silly to believe that the US is performing covert actions to sway governments in both the global North and global South, but that Russia isn't. That would be naïve.
- Lmao, they might not be powerful in military, but they sure know how to push propaganda and bad actors everywhere.

  leftist are neutral on russia, while the liberals are just as russophobic as the conservatives; targeting the people who are neutral makes little sense.
