4chan has never really been anonymous as the 4chan party van parked out front will tell you
- So all that "Anon this", "Anon that" is just silly talk

It's not anonymous. Feds are all over that place.
DDOS protection probably?
Unless your using a VPN and pay for 4chan premium, no. They can still see your IP address and hand it over if the authorities need.

4chan wasn't "anonymous" to begin with, the page identified you somehow. That's how police arrested 4chan users.
