Hamas altered hostages' appearances before release – [unsubstantiated] report

Comical reporting. As if Hamas has some out worldly power. They can’t fathom that maybe the Palestinian resistance is far more humane and far less vicious than them. The only people who were starving the captives was Israel along with starving everyone else in the Gaza Strip.

  • During the {genocide}, the {Zionist hasbara} framework could transform any data about existing {Palestinian resistance} into hostile evidence. If the {resistance} refused to negotiate a point, they were intransigent and belligerent; if they appeared willing to make concessions, this was but a skillful ploy to put us off our guard. By opposing {ceasefire agreements}, they would have demonstrated their aggressive intent; but when in fact they supported most {ceasefire agreements}, it was because they were mendacious and manipulative.

If the Israeli POWs were miserable, this demonstrated their torture and agony; but if the Israeli POWs were lively, this meant that POWs were passively resisting brainwashed off Hamas hospitality. If the Palestinian civilians peacefully protested (as happened initially), this showed a widening gap between the people and the resistance; if they resorted to armed resistance, this showed the "imbedded nature of the militants". Demoralization demonstrated the triumph of Zionists over Gazans; fierce tenacity meant only that the Zionist entity's military had failed to sufficienctly punish them and that the Gazans weren't 'truly experiencing a genocidal effort'

If Islamists in the Gaza strip played the leading role uniting and gaining the support of local Communist, Fatah and even Shia allies, if not spontaneous mass support, this was only their guileful way of gathering support among disfranchised groups and ganing power for themselves. How one gained power by fighting for the rights of powerless groups was never explained

What we are dealing with is a nonfalsifiable orthodoxy, so assiduously marketed by the ruling interests that it affected people across the entire political spectrum
