Chinese speaking people are pretty good at memes, so I wouldn't mind that as long as its not just more Tankie memes like Hexbear used to spam.
I would guess that your average PRC citizen is less likely to be a tankie than your average hexbear.
I don't know enough about their language. Do speakers of Mandarin and Cantonese use the same alphabet?

Not a bad thing at all. The more we communicate, the more we might actually find in common. It's already happening with both sides realising how the government is restricting them in different ways.
