[Retracted] Requesting approval for the creation of a community: LemmyHatesUSA
Never mind. I don't want to deal with it. I got excited for a little, but after sitting on it for a while, I realize that I rather not. Sorry and thanks!
Dessalines the creator of lemmy made this exhaustive list of US atrocities. If you read it you might get an idea of why most of us hate the evil empire.
The reason there are not other lists like that is because you can find endless (often fabricated or overblown) lists from major "journalist" outlets accusing other countries of atrocities, which often overlook the worst offender of them all.
You are not gonna find much interest in the community you are looking to create. Reddit would be a better avenue for this, because it basically already is that.
Edit: Sorry I am not upholding the hexbear reputation of hostility so let me be a little more blunt: Piss off lib.
Also what you are doing with this comment is the exact sort of whataboutism liberals constantly accuse the left of.
Also, while I’ll proudly state I hate the US with my full chest, I think it’s telling that you want to log people merely criticizing it. Go touch grass or something. We only get one life to live fam, I promise, at the end of your days you’re not looking back at this embarrassing shit thinking it was time well spent.
for real I was not always the principled revolutionary but even in my younger days I at least had good enough instincts to know the US is the most evil country in the world, propping up all the lesser evils (Israel, Saudi Arabia, etc)
Damn I wonder why so many people from around the world hate the US that's craaazy first time I'm hearing of it. I know there are some books out there like Killing Hope and The Jakarta Method but I'm always way too obsessed with niche forum comments to learn anything useful.
