Question: Now that #Meta is leaning even more into #fascism than they used to, are there any good #Fediverse equivalents of #Facebook groups?

dedicated well moderated forums have ALWAYS been better than Facebook groups. People creating them are naive and delusional and aided exploitation.

Also no company or state agency should offer support via ANY SM site. Almost all already have their own websites and many even have apps. Idiots. I'll make that illegal just before I shutter all corporate owned SM if I'm made dictator of anywhere.

I think the zuck has killed everything that would even come close to that niche.

I’m honestly scared that anything with real names and personal info will just become a tool of the oppressors even if it was modeled by the fediverse.
