Shame he would grow up to be such a disgusting person who sells his own out.

  Much as with Cixin Liu, if you're a public figure in China you better learn to bend the knee if you don't want to be "disappeared". There's no way of knowing what anybody's actual views are, really.
- IIRC his son was arrested with drugs so CCP has leverage over him.
  
  He was shit long before his son got busted with some weed.

  In China and Hong Kong if you're famous, you support everything CCP does. Because if you don't, you're not famous at best and missing at worst.
