I looked it up on the sub, and didn't find anyone doing this, so I wanted to make a thread proposing titles that will (seemingly) be full verified for the Deck that will release during 2025.
Just in case:
- This is a personal list. It's all acording to my particular tastes in games.
- We don't know if all these games will be 100% playable on the Deck, it's just supositions on my part.
- I'm using categories, but mostly sticking to confirmed for 2025 games. But it may happen some of these get delayed. But I dunno man, I got 404 games wishlisted and I want to use my knowledge, lol.
So, without further adoo, here we go:
-Mewgenics, from Edmund McMillen, the father of The Binding of Isaac. Announced like an x-com roguelike game with housebuilding elements, and promising 100s of hours of gameplay. Was suposed to release in 2024, but got delayed. Devs assure work is almost done, tho. Would be reaaaaally surprised if this doesn't get a green for the Deck.
-Slay the Spire 2. Very confirmed to be scheduled for 2025, and, for the rest, do I need to say anything?
-Stone of Madness, patronised by Game Kitchen (the Blasphemous guys). A tactics stealth game set on a spanish monastery. Now, I know the release of Mea Culpa was... interesting, but this one has other devs behind, and a confirmed release date slated for the 28th of january.
-The Last of Us 2. I don't like putting triple As on any list of recomendations, but I myself want to replay this one, so why not? Port comes out in april, unconfirmed if Deck-friendly, but if Ragnarok managed to get it, I don't see why this not.
-Farlands. Stardewlike set on a sci-fi universe. Still on early access, but announced to get the 1.0. this year.
-Hades 2. Another EA, but would be highly surprised if it doesn't get the 1.0. before august.
-Mechanicus 2. Ok, ok, it took me five seconds to start doing tricks here, but hear me out: there are very fleshed out early acceses running around, and the first one was also full green. So, another instance where i'd be highly surprised if it doesn't release this year. An xcomlike warhammer game where the first game has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard.
-Tearscape, because there's allways one guy asking for soulsvanias.
-Morsels. The new hot roguelike. Im actually not that much interested on this one, but I know for certain someone is going to angrily ask about it's absence, so there you go.
-Btw, 33 Inmortals (from the Spiritfarer guys) is suposed to release on 2025 as well, but I can't put a link to their steam webpage because it's gonna be an Epic exclusive for a while.
There are more, of course. But either I don't see them getting the green (Subnautica 2, Spiderman 2, MH Wilds), or I don't see them releasing this year of 2025 (Earthblade, Silksong) or there's too little details to know it for certain (Pony Island 2, Light no Fire, Supraworld)
I may have missed some games, so be sure to comment them!
