True internet veterans will remember when it was called Drawball.

Interesting how world flags and forum/subreddit logos dominated both then and now. I guess those type of experiments attract people who crave some kind of social identity (sort of like street gangs and graffiti)
- Flags are typically easy to draw.

All the fuss and arguments between people who want to promote lemmy and the people who refuse to genereate more traffic for reddit and I can't even see the join-lemmy art with the entire thing zoomed out.
- I think this is a good thing. This place is a gem that is hard to find and not fitting for everyone.
