The man who voiced America Online’s famous “You’ve got mail” greeting has died at age 74. Elwood Edwards died Tuesday at his home in New Bern, North Carolina.
I've done a lot of professional VO, and if he was anything like me, yes.
Because every time he listens to it, he will analyze every little inflection and think, "I could have done that better." or "they should have used the other take."

Broadband had pretty much had taken over most places by the mid-2000s. That was 20 years ago. There are people who can drink now who were born after 9/11.
