No we haven’t been here. Last time was just prep work for this. And we didn’t dismantle that work. We’re primed to efficiently implement the wishes of tyrants.
- Exactly, last time the question of "can we just shoot the protesters" was answered with "no".
  This time the answer is "obviously yes".

- I think once we start seeing people being dragged out into the streets, put into camps, or whatever crazy shit they plan on doing, that will be the time to make this kind of decision. Right now, there may be some kind of response that we can take that might help. It's a toss up right now, but just know, your life is valuable, and to not doing anything drastic until the first signs of the regime come into light.
  For what it's worth to you, I do have a last ditch plan for myself if I truly do see this death march in action, but I will not enact it unless it is truly the last option I have.

  Think of it like being diagnosed with cancer. It can be a death sentence but you can also recover with treatment.
  We are facing the truth that nothing is permanent in history but change doesn't always mean death. It's very scary, but live your life. You have today, make it mean something.

  If you cannot flee, then prepare to fight.
  
  Look into local mutual aid groups and do what you can for those around you. That will go a long way to help you and your mental health, plus having a strong network means you can help when things start to get bad.
