Verb tense
"My dog farted and it stank" already happened "My dog farted and it stinks" currently happening
Stink is also a noun, like "Kamala Harris's campaign has that loser stink about it that gives echoes of 2016"
Usage is a bit different in AAVE though so these are not hard and fast rules
10 0 ReplyThe most important difference is that neither of them are "stunk". This is best demonstrated in the classic piece of literature "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" (1966).
8 0 ReplyStink is what you smell when the garbage needs to be taken out. Stank is what you smell you exercise outside in the heat and get swamp ass.
