Very sad and that's a strange sentence
- Sounds weird but it's a common way of phrasing things in the emergency world. Probably one of the more polite phrases I've heard.
  
  Yeah, "he died from falling damage" is what my brain went to and it's probably not quite kosher.
- It's a nicer way of saying he was so fucked up there was no way he could have survived
You know people are saying it anyway, so I guess I'll take the down votes...
