Really a nothing story:
“Pathea is committed to launching My Time At Evershine on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and future Nintendo platforms yet to be announced,” the studio wrote in a press release, seemingly the first time someone has explicitly mentioned what could be a Switch 2 in marketing materials.
- Yeah, lame. Even Nintendo has kind of acknowledged a successor is coming soon.
- Game "journalism", everyone.

To be honest I just want the thing to be shown because.
The Switch has been out for ages with out a successor
The rumours are annoying
I just kinda want a new handheld that has newer specs.
- Turning old (beginning of middle age) has really messed with my perception of forever (or "ages" in this case) how long has it been out, 5 years now? That seems like not too long of a time.
  
  March 3, 2017 is when the switch was released, 7.5 years ago Feels like just a couple of years after the Dreamcast was released…. Getting old sucks
  
  In real time it's been longer than it was from NES to Super NES. For the teenagers clearly doing most of the commenting on these Nintendo posts, they were in elementary or middle school at launch. Now they're in college.
- I don't know if a Switch 2 would get me to move away from my Steam Deck.
  
  I'm right there with you, my deck, and my future deck 2 (there will be no deck 3 because valve/steam/GabeN) is probably the only "console" I get from here out

God I hate it when these websites have an infinite scrolling feed of articles under the article. Who is that even for?
