  • About time! There has been crazy amounts of empty hype around Siri and Google assistant for about 10 years now, and I’ve been deeply disappointed every time I’ve tried these “assistants”.

    They can just barely assist you in some of the simplest things like adding an item to your shopping list or starting a timer. Asking anything beyond that means that most of the time you’ll be asking something that is far beyond their capabilities.

    Let’s hope GPT will be even half of what the hype 10 years ago was all about.

  • Tldr: The phones built in assistant is powered by GPT?

    I usually just disable Assistant/Cortana/Siri/Bixby, but this might be nice for those that use it
