So : don't go after very specific people who also have money? Id say most people in crypto will agree that regulation is necessary and support it, on the other hand it should be obvious they will fight against blanket hate and actions that will make them lose value.

Since the only real uses are crime, and bitcoin is a huge energy user, any regulation which addresses either of those means a drop in value. And if you don't address those, what's the point?
