That's actually an ancient roman roast recipe: cover it in salt in a crock, put some honey on the slices after. Quite tasty.
So based on other comments here:Bathe the brisket in copious brine.Place in an oven on low heat on timer for 300 years.Ensure that during this time the brisket is pounded by gamma radiation continuously.
If it's still edible 300 years later, he used too much salt.
Or the oven didn't turn off and the aliens really enjoy briquette.
It could be that radiation would kill anything that would otherwise decompose the meat.
It would still dry out and oxidize.
and maybe burned all the oxygen so it couldn't rancidify?
