The biggest diamond in over a century is found in Botswana
The largest diamond found in more than a century has been unearthed at a mine in Botswana. The country’s president showed off the fist-sized stone at a viewing ceremony Thursday.
No doubt the person who found it got an extra piece of bread for dinner.

"Natural" diamonds are a manufactured luxury. Lab-made are just as well, if not better, but big diamond is really pushing the "rocks we find in the ground are better". Even though the diamond industry has their hands covered in blood.
Diamonds aren't even cool anymore. Laboratory gems, however, are fucking awesome.
