leftists better start caring about privacy because we will be the ones to be fucked the most by the lack of it.
- The only people I've ever met who really cared about privacy were leftists.

  All well and good until the state decides to throw you in a black site for talking about unionization at work or giving a sandwich to a homeless person.
  
  There's a good amount of libertarian get off my lawn types that do too.
  
  Maybe they just don't see or can't connect how capitalism and enshittification regarding privacy are connected
- 100% And it shouldn't be too hard. I'm pretty sure it was largely leftists against draconian surveillance that started in the 2000s.
