Also “chief internet evangelist” is such a bullshit title
I can't find any source for this besides the register article. An IETF draft was written for it a week ago, no indication it was accepted.
ICANN can pry ".local" from my cold dead hands!
- Pretty sure .local is safe.
  
  My bad, its Microsoft that keeps changing their recommendations, had it in my mind it was bad for some reason.
