  • Visually, this anime is pretty hard to look at. So many stillframes, yet inconsistent and often pretty bad looking too imo. When there is animation, it's often still quite static. Storywise, the manga does a better job, imo, at executing it.

    I think I'll drop this and just continue the manga.

    • Yeah, the animation can be wonky sometimes and they make extensive use of chibi sequences and cartoony backgrounds to simplify the artwork:

      It reminds me of Level 99 Villainess in that way if I am honest. Though, it didn't bother me as much in that case. I was a source reader for that show, but am an anime-only for this show.

  • Alicia is really bad at villainessing...

    She absolutely should be lording her class over Liz. That is like villainessing 101. See a commoner -> might as well be dead. It's not that hard. It's surprising she messed up being the best villainess with Liz since she got it right in another part of this episode. When she saw Will being all moody, her villainess powers manifested themselves @rikka@ani.social

    Though...if you really think about it, Alicia's suggestion to Liz is what led Liz's mana to get out of control. So, maybe Alicia is a good villainess?

    In any case, we had a bit of a time skip this episode but, frankly, not as much as I had hoped. So she is now 13 and the dudes fighting for her attention are what, like 18? Idk...
