It seems like the Hope Mart is Mr. Villain's 3rd place, with clerk girl his best friend outside of work.
I just learned about siphon coffee makers a couple of weeks ago myself...

Who or what is the little girl?
- Sakura/Japanese cherry tree flower spirit maybe?
  Japan Shinto religion or culture is full of animist type spirits, i.e. anything can have a spirit to interact with.
  Kami (spirits) are said to inhabit kodama (old or beautiful (Sakura) trees).
