A calm episode this week after the intensity of the previous two. If you liked the insert song that played during the montage, it was actually the original ED that played during the episode 1-4 premiere that aired in Japan. It is "bliss" by milet (same artist as the usual ED) and you can watch the animated video that accompanied the original premiere here.
I really like how meeting Kraft makes you imagine all of the heroic adventures he must have been on in the past that nobody remembers anymore. Was he in a party of heroes that have since been lost to time? Will the party of heroes that Frieren was part of be lost to time as well? Kraft calls Frieren young, so it is hard to get a read on just how old he might be.
