I hate how smart she is and how well she understands precisely how to betray the human spirit. her miscalculation about Cyril came as a shock to her, though that makes sense... that she would be clouded about someone she had affection for.

I held out some hope that the heroes could frustrate the plan somehow, but by the time episode 8 rolls around it became so clear they had planned it all to merciless perfection.

absolutely brilliant television, so many details and so richly drawn are all the characters, that even when you know what is coming, it still feels at each moment like anything might happen.

I love also how it's no magic wizards or powerful individuals or whatever, that and Andor is just some guy who saw it all for what it was very early and was revolted by it. that the rebellion is made up of regular people all over the place who have seen what a horror the empire is and decided to go against it and stop it's victory.

and they aren't all forming an army on yavin or doing operations on the front lines... some are like the hotel staff leaving him off the guest list or the maintenance team "following the rules" and finally fixing the door lock just before the broadcast so the security apparatus' reaction is slowed.

it really shows that our roles as workers are a source of our power and there are far too many of us for our adversaries to engage. we could be anyone. in fact, the ideological frame the adversary operates in, which takes us all for granted, is their weakness.
